The London Mets are based in Finsbury Park N4, where we have our clubhouse and diamonds. We are one of the most successful baseball clubs in Britain and the only baseball club in central London. We foster a friendly and positive atmosphere at the club, with an emphasis on fun and good sportsmanship, development of skills and encouragement for all players to try their best at every level. This has been a winning combination: The London Mets are the 2007 and 2008 National Baseball League Champions. We also have a AAA team (London Metros) who made the Final 4 National Championships in 2008 and a new A team (London Marauders) established in 2009.
The award-winning club is built around a very successful youth programme with teams for players from 7 through to 16 which has developed in recent years to add our three very exciting adult teams in addition to an outreach programme in schools and communities that has reached more than 6500 participants in 2008. We have been able to bring a coach over from the USA, Canada and Australia to work at the club through the summer for the last 4 years.
The London Mets Baseball Club is currently looking for new players of all abilities to become part of our expanding adult baseball programme in 2010. We are looking to recruit players at every level - serious competitors for the NBL or AAA teams - or beginners, rookies and youth players for our new A team.
